A good place to take pictures for small creatures (e.g. crabs, small fish, butterflies..etc) and some wetland plants, you can hardly find any birds as they are hiding far away (visitors too noisy??). For HK$200, you can bring your whole family there anytime the whole year, worth the price. See here for more pics.

Nan Lian Garden
It could be the best garden I ever been in Hong Kong, worth to spend a whole afternoon there. Take pictures of the golden tower near sun set time make it looks even more "golden". However, most indoor exhibits does not allow taking pictures, and closes at around 5-6:00pm. Anyway, the outdoor scene is excellent, and I took almost 300 shots in 4 hours. See pics here.

View through my window

Picture taken at home, through the window of the living room. Dramatic color is a result of using flash white balance plus landscape picture style, those purple red sky were effects using twilight picture style. May be the mountain is a bit high, as a result, the sun still very bright when it "touches" the slope of the mountain. Anyway, there is only a few times each year I can see such good weather and clear sky. See my album here.
